How do I find similar research papers?

Add a seed paper (by title, DOI, PubMed URL, or arXiv URL), click "Analyze citation network", then open the "Similar" tab. The tool uses Adamic-Adar link prediction — a graph algorithm that identifies papers likely to be cited alongside your seed paper based on shared co-citation patterns. This surfaces topically close papers, including more recent literature you might miss with keyword search.

How do I find key authors in a research field?

Add one or more seed papers in your field, run the analysis, and open the "Authors" tab. The tool aggregates authorship across the citation network and ranks authors by a combined score of paper importance (PageRank centrality) and similarity (link prediction). This helps you identify the most influential researchers in your topic area.

Can I search by DOI, PubMed URL, or arXiv URL?

Yes. The search box accepts paper titles, DOIs (e.g. 10.1109/cvpr.2016.90), PubMed URLs (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/...), arXiv URLs (arxiv.org/abs/...), or bare PubMed IDs. The tool resolves these via OpenAlex with Crossref and arXiv as fallbacks.

Can I import a BibTeX file?
